Rev. Dr. Carl Trueman is pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ambler, PA, professor of Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary, and a speaker on the Mortification of Spin podcast. He has an M.A. in Classics from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in Church History from the University of Aberdeen. He is editor of the IFES journal, Themelios, and has taught on the faculties of theology at both the University of Nottingham and the University of Aberdeen. He has authored a number of books, including The Claims of Truth: John Owen’s Trinitarian Theology and The Wages of Spin: Critical Writings on Historic and Contemporary Evangelicalism. He lives in Oreland, a suburb of Philadelphia, with his wife, Catriona, and his two sons, John and Peter.
Rev. Dr. Harry L. Reeder III is Senior Pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Birmingham, Alabama. He has served three churches over the past 35 years in Florida, North Carolina and Alabama. Dr. Reeder is the author of several books and articles and is a frequent contributor to Table Talk magazine. He is passionate about the ministry of church revitalization and authored, From Embers to a Flame: How God Can Revitalize Your Church. He has led Embers Conferences all around the world including South Africa, Kenya, Australia, Uganda, and South Korea.
