Encouragement for College Students
Dearest Members of Christ Church,
Sending children off to college can sometimes be a scary thing for Christian parents. It can also be scary for those entering their freshman year. Indeed, it’s not easy being a follower of Christ on a college campus these days. With all the changes and new freedoms will come new temptations and responsibilities. That’s why it's so important for college freshman to think biblically about their transition to college, and not just go with the flow. In the following article, published over at The Gospel Coalition website, I’ve set forth five ways that incoming freshman (and all college students) can stay strong in the Lord.
Please take time to read this brief article (in the form of a letter) and pass it along to any college freshman you might know or those who have children who are heading to college this fall.
