How does Paul remind his readers about their identity? Why is this important?
How are the characteristics of verses 12-15 the opposite of a self-focused, proud life?

How are the presence of a priest and access to God’s Word indications that God is with David?
How does the Lord use Jonathan in David’s life? How is this an indication of the Lord’s kindness to David? How is Jonathan an example to follow for God's people today?
What kind of providential deliverance do we see in this passage? How is this another way that the Lord is proving to David that he is upholding his life? How do Christians have the same sort of assurance?
