The Lord blessed us richly this past Lord's Day in our public worship and wonderful times of fellowship during the prayer meeting, Sunday school, and before and after our worship services!

Announcements & Upcoming Events

Sunday School | Began last Lord's Day!

We started up our Sunday school program for the fall this past Lord's Day! We have Sunday school classes for all ages, so please join us for this wonderful time of learning and fellowship. If you have any questions about the Sunday School program, please contact Pastor Michael.

Here are the age-breakdowns of the classes and the teachers of each Sunday school class:

2&3 year olds: Nathan & Lauren Guthrie
4&5 year olds: Max & Claire Kendall
1st–3rd graders: Grayce Owens & Maggie Orr
4th–6th graders: Andrew & Lizzie Godwin
Middle & High Schoolers: Pastor Michael & Matthew Watson
Adults: Pastor Jon

Young Professionals & MUSC Bible Study | THIS Tuesday
The weekly Young Professionals and MUSC Bible study meets at the home of Michael and Sarah Bauer Tuesdays at 6:45 PM for dinner, fellowship, and Bible study. We will resume our Bible study TONIGHT, and begin studying the book of First Corinthians! Young Mother’s Bible Study Fellowship | Saturday Mornings
Led by Ruth Peterson, all young moms are encouraged to attend the young mother’s Bible study fellowship at Christ Church. The fellowship meets Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM. It is a time to help equip young moms—both biblically and practically—to raise their infants and toddlers for the glory of God. The study uses Ginger Hubbard’s book, Don’t Make Me Count to Three.

Church Picnic | Save the Date
We have reserved space at Palmetto Islands Country Park [444 Needlerush Pkwy, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464] for a fall church picnic. It will be on Saturday, September 11th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please take a moment to mark your calendars and plan to attend this wonderful time of fun and fellowship with your church family.

Mission Conference | October 2–3, 2021
On Saturday and Sunday October 2nd and 3rd we will hold a Mission Conference here at Christ Church Presbyterian. Dr. David Garner, Academic Dean, Vice President of Global Ministries, and Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, will preach both services on the Lord’s Day. Missionary of the Month | Kevin & Marie Bidwell
Please join us in praying specifically for one of our supported missionaries and their families each month. August’s missionary of the month is Kevin Bidwell. Rev. Dr. Kevin Bidwell is a missionary church planter in Sheffield, England. He and his wife Maria have two adult children, Melody and Rivka. Let’s pray earnestly for God’s grace and blessing upon the preaching of the Word and the ministry of discipleship in Sheffield through Rev. Bidwell and his congregation.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies | On Break
The Men of the Covenant Bible study and the women’s Bible study are currently on break for the rest of the summer. We will pick up our studies once again in September.
