Women’s Fellowship Event & Baby Shower | September 28 at 7:00 PM
Ladies! Mark your calendars! The ladies of Christ Church are warmly invited to gather for a monthly time of encouraging fellowship. This event will not only be a time of fellowship, but a time to celebrate Lauren Guthrie, as she anticipates the birth of her first child in October. Lauren is registered on Babylist. The September Women’s Fellowship will be Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00 PM, at the home of Jamie Pepin. Jamie will also be sharing a devotion.

New Members Class | Starting Sunday, October 2 
Our New Members Class is for all those who would like to find out more information about the church and/or join us in membership. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about the distinctives of Christ Church Presbyterian and to understand what it means to be a member of the church. If you are interested in joining this class, please contact Pastor Michael (michael@christchurchcharleston.org).

Good News Club 
Christ Church Presbyterian is supporting a local Good News Club! We'd love your help and prayer in this endeavor. Please save the following dates: 

• October 4: CEF training; 1:00-5:00 PM at the Church at LifePark (tentative location)
• October 9: Following the fellowship meal, we will host a planning meeting to formally organize the club supported by Christ Church. 
• October 12: Tentative launch of the Good News Club at Belle Hall Elementary, to be hosted weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00 PM. 

Please be praying for this Good News Club and those involved. If you are retired or otherwise have free time in the afternoons, there is a significant need for more volunteers from our congregation. If you are interested in the rich opportunity to share the Gospel every week with children (and their families, by extension) in the local community, please reach out to Matt Watson (matthewwatson2009@gmail.com).

Fall Church Picnic | October 15
We have reserved space at Palmetto Islands County Park [444 Needlerush Pkwy, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464] for our Fall Church Picnic! The picnic will be Saturday, October 15th from 12:30 pM to 3:30 PM. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this wonderful time of fun and fellowship with your church family and bring a side dish or dessert to share!

Mission Sunday | October 9, 2022
Mark your calendars for a high impact Sunday focused on the Great Commission at Christ Church Presbyterian on October 9. Rev. Chris Gordon, Senior Pastor of Escondido URC in Escondido, California will be our guest preacher. In addition to pastoral ministry, Pastor Gordon is the host of Abounding Grace Radio, a Christian radio ministry that reaches hundreds of thousands of people across the U.S., Canada, and Africa. In addition, Pastor Gordon is the author of The New Reformation Catechism on Human Sexuality. Please make plans to attend this mission focused Sunday. Join us for a mission-themed Sunday school hour for all ages, as well as a fellowship meal immediately following the morning service.

High School Girl's Bible Study | Sundays at 4:00 PM
High School Gals! Join Rachael McIntosh for a Bible Study held in Rachael's office at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. We will be walking through the book of James together. If you are interested in joining this study, please email Rachael McIntosh at rachael@christchurchcharleston.org.

Kids’ Catechism | Sundays at 4:30 PM
Children ages 8–12 are welcome to join the Kids’ Catechism Class at Christ Church. We are studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism and meet on Sundays 4:30 PM at the church. This week's memory verse is Philippians 3:8: “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ”

MUSC & Twenty-Somethings Bible Study | Tuesdays at 6:45pm
The weekly MUSC & twenty-somethings Bible study meets on Tuesdays at 6:45 PM at the home of Michael and Sarah Bauer. Join us each week as we have a catered dinner, wonderful Christian fellowship, and study 1 Corinthians. Bring your Bible and a friend!  If you’d like more information about this fantastic ministry please contact Pastor Michael.

Men of the Covenant Bible Study | Thursdays at 7:00am
Our Men of the Covenant Bible study meets Thursday morning at 7:00 AM at the church. We are currently studying the book: Knowing Christ  by Mark Jones. Please join us for this time of growing in grace with one another! Books are available for those who attend the study.
