New Members Class | starting THIS Sunday, April 23
Our New Members Class is for all those who would like to find out more information about the church and/or join us in membership. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about the distinctives of Christ Church Presbyterian and to understand what it means to be a member of the church. If you are interested in joining this class, please contact Rachael McIntosh (rachael@christchurchcharleston.org).

Nursery Workers Needed

Attention ladies of Christ Church: If you are not currently serving on the nursery rotation (and able to do so), we could use your assistance. All nursery workers must be members of Christ Church. If you would like to be placed on the rotation, please contact our Nursery Coordinator, Mrs. Alicia Williams [alicia@christchurchcharleston.org]

Kitchen Crew Needed
We are in search of more members to help out in the Christ Church Kitchen. The Christ Church Kitchen Crew serve as a team of two preparing coffee, snacks, and communion for the Sunday services. Please contact Mrs. Lynn Earle (ldearle15@gmail.com).

Gospel Reformation Network National Conference | May 3–4 in Charlotte, NC
The Gospel Reformation Network, an organization whose goal is to cultivate healthy Reformed churches in the Presbyterian Church in America, is holding its annual conference at Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church, on May 3-4. This year’s conference is entitled Lead on, O King Eternal: Pressing On with Holy Conviction. Pastor Jon will join many other godly, faithful, and stalwart ministers of the gospel to encourage all attendees to stand firm upon God’s Word. If you are able, sign up now to travel to Charlotte, NC to participate in this wonderful event!

GRN National Conference Livestream & Dinner | Wednesday, May 3
For all who are unable to travel to Charlotte, Christ Church will host a live-streamed event Wednesday, May 3 at 4:45 PM where we will share a meal, fellowship with one another, and watch the two lectures given that evening: “A Second Path to Apostasy” from O. Palmer Robertson at 5:45 PM EST and “Amazing Grace: Preaching Sanctification” from Dr. Harry Reeder at 7:00 PM EST. RSVP for this fantastic event here! Note: The evening session of the Women’s Bible Study will meet at the home of Kristin Gee on May 3 at 7:00 PM.

Dead Theologians Society | May 12 at 4:00 PM
Once a month, a group of men are gather together in an informal men’s fellowship focusing on the lives and writings of the great theologians of the past. The purpose of the Dead Theologians Society is to foster deeper friendships around Christian literary classics from church history. We are currently reading Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress”and the next gathering of the Dead Theologians Society will be on May 12 at 4:00 PM at Grace & Grit.

Spring Church Picnic | Saturday, May 13
We have reserved space at Palmetto Islands County Park [444 Needlerush Pkwy, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464] for our Spring Church Picnic! The picnic will be Saturday, May 13th from 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Please plan to attend this wonderful time of fun and fellowship with your church family and bring a side dish or dessert to share!

Belle Hall Elementary Good News Club
Christ Church Presbyterian is supporting a Good News Club at Belle Hall Elementary weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00 PM. We praise the Lord for his faithfulness in growing the club!  Please be praying for this Good News Club and those involved. Because of the increase in attendance, we are in need of more volunteersPlease reach out to Matthew Watson (matthewwatson2009@gmail.com)

Summerville Good News Club
Christ Church Presbyterian is supporting the Good News Club that meets at Beyond Basic Life Skills each week on Monday from 3:15 to 4:30 PM. Please be praying for this gospel ministry to adults with intellectual disabilities. If you are interested in assisting with these special child/adults, please reach out to Helen Royal (helenroyal@me.com).

Young Ladies Spring Tea | Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 PM
Young ladies aged 5 through 12th grade are cordially invited to a Spring Tea at the church Saturday, May 20, 2:00-3:30 PM. Mothers are welcome to attend, but should also feel free to drop off daughters (we know it is a busy time!). Please RSVP here by May 6. Please indicate the total number of ladies from your family who plan to attend. 

Christ Church 10th Anniversary Celebration | Sunday, June 4
Mark your calendars and join us as we celebrate 10 years of the Lord's faithfulness at Christ Church Presbyterian. It will be a sweet time of rejoicing!

VBS 2023 | June 20-22
Mark your calendars! Christ Church Presbyterian will host Vacation Bible School for kids ages 4-12 at the church June 20–22. Details to come soon!

Regular Bible Studies 
Kids’ Catechism | Sundays at 4:00 PM
Children ages 8–12 are welcome to join the Kids’ Catechism Class at Christ Church. We are studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism and meet on Sundays 4:00 PM at the church.

High School Girl's Bible Study | Sundays at 4:00 PM
High School Gals! We have a Bible Study held in Rachael's office at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. We are walking through the book of James together. 

MUSC & Twenty-Somethings Bible Study | Tuesdays at 6:45 PM
The weekly MUSC & twenty-somethings Bible study meets on Tuesdays at 6:45 PM at the the home of Pastor Jon and Marla. It’s a time of food, wonderful Christian fellowship, and Bible study. We are studying Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung. This week, we will focus on Chapters 3-4. Bring your Bible and a friend and join us!

Women's Bible Study | Wednesday, May 3
Amy Clark is leading a bi-monthly Women's Bible Study through Ephesians Wednesdays at 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the church. (**Please note: Both AM and PM Bible Studies are the same. We are offering two different times for the same study.) We are using the book Let's Study Ephesians by Sinclair Ferguson to guide our talk and study. Our next meeting is Wednesday, May 3. Note: The evening session of the Women’s Bible Study will meet at the home of Kristin Gee on May 3 at 7:00 PM.

Men of the Covenant Bible Study | Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 AM
Our Men of the Covenant Bible study meets Thursday mornings at 7:00 AM at the church. We are going to study O. Palmer Robertson’s book The Israel of God: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. Please join us for this time of growing in grace with one another!
