Guest Minister | Dr. John Currie
We are delighted and grateful to welcome to our pulpit this Lord’s Day the Rev. Dr. John Currie, Professor and Dean of Pastoral Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. In his work for the seminary, Rev. Currie teaches courses on expository preaching, pastoral leadership in the local church, and church revitalization. He is also an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Please take time on Sunday to welcome Rev. Currie to Christ Church.

Officer Ordination & Installation Service | Sunday, July 17
The Lord has blessed Christ Church by raising up three new elders and five new deacons to serve his church. Dr. George Carter, Col (ret) Tom Clark, and Mr. Ron Jacobs have been elected to the office of ruling elder. Mr. Jeff Gee, Mr. John Morgan, Dr. Lawrence Ramos, Mr. Russ Tomlinson, and Mr. Matthew Watson have been elected to the office of deacon. These men will be ordained and installed into their respective offices during the morning worship service on Sunday, July 17. There will be a cake reception following the service. Please join us for this momentous event in the life of the church!

New Members Class | Starting Sunday, July 17 
Our New Members Class is for all those who would like to find out more information about the church and/or join us in membership. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about the distinctives of Christ Church Presbyterian and to understand what it means to be a member of the church. If you are interested in joining this class, please contact Pastor Michael.

Vacation Bible School | July 19-21
Christ Church will host Vacation Bible School for kids ages 4–12 at the church July 19– 21. The theme is: The King Is Coming! Kids will spend three days having a royally good time learning about Christ as King. Join us for music, crafts, lessons and more!

MUSC & Twenty-Somethings Summer Study | Tuesday, July 12 at 6:45pm
The weekly MUSC & twenty-somethings Summer study meets on Tuesdays at 6:45 PM at the home of Michael & Sarah Bauer. Join us each week as we have a cookout dinner, wonderful Christian fellowship, and study a new book this Summer: Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution by Carl Trueman. Men of the Covenant Bible Study | Thursday, July 14 at 7:00am
Our Men of the Covenant Bible study will meet Thursday morning at 7:00 AM at the church. We are studying The Masculine Mandate: God's Calling to Men by Dr. Richard Phillips. Please join us for this time of growing in grace with one another! Books are available for those who attend the study.
