New Members Class | Sunday, January 8 at 4:15 PM
Our New Members Class is for all those who would like to find out more information about the church and/or join us in membership. This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about the distinctives of Christ Church Presbyterian and to understand what it means to be a member of the church. Lost & Found Clean-out
Over the last few months our lost and found box has become a bit full. (More lost than found, if you know what we mean.) Should you be missing any items, please look through the lost and found box located in the supply closet. If you need assistance, please contact the Deacon of the Week (noted in the bulletin each Sunday) or Rachael McIntosh. After January, all items left in the box will be disposed of.
Belle Hall Good News Club | Volunteer Meeting | January 11 at 2:30 PM
Those who are planning to volunteer for the Good News Club at Belle Hall Elementary are encouraged to attend a volunteer meeting on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Christ Church. During this meeting, we will discuss logistics and procedures for the club launching on January 18, 2023.
Fellowship Meal | NEXT Sunday, January 15
Please make plans to join us for a Fellowship Meal with our church family on Sunday, January 15 following the morning worship service. Join us for this wonderful time to enjoy a meal and fellowship on the Lord’s day as a church family! We're asking 15 families to sign up to bring a main dish, large enough to serve at least 10 people. We also need 5 families to bring salads and 5 families to bring veggies large enough for your family plus extra. All others are asked to bring a dessert. Please be sure to sign up!
January Women’s Fellowship Event | January 18 at 7:00 PM
Ladies! Mark your calendars! You are warmly invited to the January Women’s Fellowship, on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00 PM, at the home of Amy Clark. RSVP and consider signing up to bring a snack here. Rachael McIntosh will be sharing a devotional. The Women's Fellowship is hosted in a different home each month, and includes heavy finger foods, dessert, fellowship, a devotion, and a season of prayer. It’s a time to grow deeper in the Lord and foster friendships, old and new!
Good News Club | Launching January 18
Christ Church Presbyterian is supporting a local Good News Club! We'd love your help and prayer in this endeavor. The Good News Club at Belle Hall Elementary will launch January 18, 2023, and will be hosted weekly on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00 PM. Please be praying for this Good News Club and those involved. If you are available during that time and are interested in the rich opportunity to share the Gospel, please reach out to Matt Watson (matthewwatson2009@gmail.com).
PCA 50th Anniversary Celebration | Sunday, January 29 at 5:30 PM
We will join our low country sister churches at Redeemer Presbyterian Church at 5:30 PM on Sunday, January 29 to worship together and celebrate the 50th anniversary of our denomination, the PCA. If you are interested in participating in a joint choir with our sister churches that evening, please contact Rachael McIntosh.
Good News Club | Summerville
Christ Church Presbyterian is supporting the Good News Club that meets at Beyond Basic Life Skills each week on Monday from 3:15 to 4:30 PM. Please be praying for this gospel ministry to adults with intellectual disabilities. If you are interested in assisting with these special child/adults, please reach out to Helen Royal (helenroyal@me.com).
